The health system was conducting around 25 to 50 virtual visits a day; at the height of the pandemic, that rose to nearly 8,000. It worked with Cisco, Apple and others for clinician-to-clinician video.
The agreement with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority aims to “enhance the quality of health services, create new job opportunities, and elevate [Saudi’s] national economy to become a data and AI-driven economy.”
The proposals include the development of a data strategy for health and social care.
